I became a personal trainer in 2003 when my youngest was in preschool. I have always had a passion for fitness,nutrition and wellness. I enjoy cooking, gardening and being outdoors. While suffering from a bout of insomnia, I started taking yoga and Tai Chi classes and developed a love for the eastern way of healing the body. It was after repeated overuse injuries that I decided to learn how to heal my body and bring myself back to balance through yoga and meditation.. As life kept pushing me towards the path of healing I decided to enroll into a 200 hour yoga teacher training program at Yama Therapeutics in Baltimore, Maryland. I finished in June of 2012 and began teaching yoga right away. I love to share this ancient practice of yoga to help my students and clients feel better and move with ease.
In the fall of 2014 I decided to continue my studies in Yoga and Reiki. I completed the 500 hour yoga teacher training at the University of Maryland Center of Integrative Medicine in February 2016. I continue to study various healing modalities such as Somatics Movement, Meditation and Qi Gong. I am currently in teacher training for Balanced Body Pilates Mat and Reformer.
I enjoy working with adults, seniors, teens and children in private training and classes. I look forward to meeting new clients and helping them to find their inner peace.

Once you progress in your practice you will start to gain a new awareness of your body, mind, and spirit. You will learn to trust yourself and discover your edge in each discipline. I will introduce you to meditation, Reiki, restorative yoga and Yoga Nidra which can help with managing chronic pain, stress and anxiety. Soon you will begin to notice shifts in your life and I will be here to guide you as you continue your journey and work together to meet and exceed your goals.
My goal is to help you feel and move better so you can live a fulfilling life. I will meet you where you are and guide you on your path to health and wellness. I teach accessible yoga classes offering modifications and props so you can receive benefits of the poses and feel centered and back to balance at the conclusion of your practice. I also work with private clients for yoga and meditation. I offer workshops such as Self Care, Sound Healing, Reiki and Chronic Pain management.
